I was referred to Dr. Edward K. Jung after a discectomy surgery in November went bad after two weeks with an added broken vertebrae. Dr. Jung saw me and determined we would have a fusion surgery and a laminectomy surgery (revision). The day of surgery he determined a multi level fusion would be better. I was able to walk without pain for the first time since November. I had issues with my right leg and he went back in and fixed it. I was very impressed with Dr. Jung and his staff and am grateful I was referred to him. I'm three weeks out and doing very well. I suffered from severe pain in the upper backs of my legs for more than two years. I suffered through PT, steroid shots and various pain meds with little relief. I was finally referred to Dr. Jung - and it was the best move I made! He performed minimally invasive surgery on L4-L5 and the pain disappeared immediately after the surgery was over. I had zero pain after being discharged - never needed any oxycontin, relied only on Tylenol for any wound discomfort. If you can - run, don't walk, to consult with Dr. Jung.
